Level Designer/Scripter

Hello, my name is Charles Butler, and I’m a level designer/scripter who graduated from SMU’s Guildhall in December.  I have an undergraduate degree in MIS and a graduate degree in business (MBA), giving me a bit of a technical and analytical background as well as a solid foundation of communication skills.  This skill set has served me well during my time at the Guildhall, and I look forward to further developing it as I move forward with my career.

My passion is creating rich and believable worlds with a focus on providing meaningful and memorable player experiences through environmental storytelling and interaction.  The things I value most in a working environment are opportunities to learn and grow and the chance to work toward a shared goal with skilled and driven people.
