Primae Noctis

Position:  Associate Game Designer

Primae Noctis is a stealth, action game based on the Braveheart I.P.  It follows the story of Cora Keith, a woman from the Scottish Highlands who seeks to assassinate the English lord responsible for the rape and murder of her sister under the rights of primae noctis.  The player can switch between three forms, each with unique abilities, in order to fight and sneak through the lord's castle.

 As the game designer on Primae Noctis, I conceived the orginal idea and am working with the team to keep a consistent look and feel to the game.  I am responsible for writing and maintaining the game design document and adjusting the gameplay balance through the iterations of the game.

Amateur Death Race

Position: Level Designer

Amateur Death Race was a Mario-Kart style racer developed over eight week project using the Unreal Editor III.  Players raced each other around a wacky, futuristic track in magnetically powered vehicles that attracted unwanted junk, slowly the car down if the player wasn't careful.  Pick-ups and hazards added to the challenge of the game.

As a level designer on Amateur Death Race, I was responsible for designing and implementing gameplay in one third of the racetrack.  I also worked on other tasks including lighting the entire track and creating the materials from our artists' textures using the Material Editor.
