Maglev

A 3D puzzle game where the player uses magnetism to navigate a hazardous spaceship.

January 2010-May 2010 

Guildhall Team Game Project: four artists, three programmers, eight level designers using the Unreal Development Kit.

  • Created and maintained art team's schedule and pipeline
  • Assigned all art asset tasks
  • Approved and imported assets into the Editor
  • Created 20 meshes including diffuse, specular, normal and ambient occlusion maps and converted into materials
  • Created two tileable environment textures and one shader material
Starshade Valley

A 3D western-styled FPS where the main characters fight an alien threat in an abandoned town.

June 2009-October 2009

Guildhall Team Game Project: two artists, one programmer and four level designers using the Unreal Tournament 3 Editor.

Modeled, textured and imported diffuse, normal and specular maps for 38 assets including:

  • Two weapon models from concept
  • Player character
  • Six tileable environment textures
Mayatron

A 2D action-puzzle game where you play an aztec god fighting his ancient, evil rival in the ruins of an old temple.

March 2009-May 2009 (Awarded "Best Overall Game")

Guildhall Team Game Project: one artist, two level designers using Torque X Game Builder.

Created 80 assets including:

  • Three sets of floor and wall tilesets based on jungle references
  • Three enemy types using mayan glyph references
  • Marketing poster and promotional dvd materials
