UNANNOUNCED TITLE I

 Studio: Griptonite Games, Glu MobileInc.

Description: Worked with a team of 10+ people to develop an original IP combat title to the iOS platform.

Unannounced Title II (BETA)

 

Studio: Griptonite Games, Glu MobileInc.

Description: Worked with a team of 12+ people to prototype an original IP title to the iOS platform. 

Development Time: In Progress (1 month of a 3 month project, currently in beta)

 

Unannounced Title III (RTM)

Studio: Griptonite Games, Foundation 9 Entertainment

Description: Worked with a team of 7+ people to implement an established children’s IP to console platform. Reviewed and implemented prototype and whitebox levels to fit game design document specifications. Scripted 5 levels of the game. Updated script changes as requested by publisher. Created appropriate documentation, play tested and made gameplay suggestions as necessary.

Kung Fu Panda II (Kinect, PS3, Wii)

Studio: Griptonite Games, Foundation 9 Entertainment

Description: Worked with a team of 30+ people to design and develop Kung Fu Panda 2 across multiple SKUs. Wrote LDD’s and whiteboxed 13 levels of the game including final Boss fight. Scripted and maintained 8 levels of the game. Created and maintained over 20 cutscenes shared across all SKU’s. Updated scheduling documentation at appropriate intervals, play tested game throughout production process, compiled and maintained assorted lists (assets, FX, checklists, etc).

Burgundy, On the Rocks

Game: Half Life 2

Description: Burgundy, On The Rocks is a single level set within the Half Life Universe, between levels 7A and 8. The focus of this project was to create a short Half Life 2 level that includes a puzzle sequence, combat with a variety of enemies, and a beautiful scenic landscape.

Above the Downtrodden

Game: Half Life 2

Description:  Above the Downtrodden is a single player level set within the Half Life 2 universe, within the town of Ravenholm. The focus of this project was to create a short Half Life 2 level that included several key elements including: scripted sequences, environmental and lighting design, and at least one unique or “wow” moment.

Library Retrieval

Game: Gears of War

Description:  Library Retrieval is a single player level set within the Gears of War universe within an abandoned Library at the Contemporary Combat Center of the Eastern Barricade Academy. The focus of this mission was to create a short Gears of War level that included both scripting and environmental detailing. Several paths through the level lead to the primary mission objective, and completion of the level requires the player to retrace their steps through the level, reusing the game space and optimizing both environmental design and gameplay in a small environment.

Emotional Vignettes

Game: Half Life 2

Description:  The "Emotional Vignette" assignment attempts to express emotion in a scene using only light, color, sound and visual cues. These three vignettes represent my interpretation of the emotions of: Gloom, Uncertainty, and "Chill" (laid back, relaxin' all cool). Each vignette took approximately 5 hours to whitebox, script, detail and complete.

3D Environment Models

Program: 3D Studio Max

Description: This focused study project resulted in two sets of bedroom furniture in an ornate wooden and ornate metal style. Each set includes a bed, bedside table, low table, dresser and armoire. The style of the wooden set includes carved, ornate and inset wood textures. The style of the metal set includes ornate, curved and textured with metal highlights. Inspirations for both styles are available in most modern furniture warehouse stores.

3D Architecture Models

Program: Google Sketchup/Google Earth

Description: This research project resulted in a preliminary study and cost analysis for mapping the complete Southern Methodist University campus for publication in Google Earth.  Worked individually with faculty supervision to model, texture, and create hypertext content for Plano Campus, Dallas Hall, and Blanton Building. Performed preliminary testing and project cost analysis for complete Southern Methodist University project scheduled for summer 2010.
