My project shows how the environments affect the viewer’s mood and perception. An environmental artist has control over the environment that they create. It is important for them to understand that they have the power to manipulate that environment, to express what they desire. I wanted to show through out this project and in my field review, how important environments are. I showed in my methodology exactly what I planned to do over the next four months and how I designed my schedule for it. I produced a product that took me three and a half months to complete. I made three environments inside of 3D Studio Max each with their own moods that I wished to express. When I finished, I had testers answer my questionnaire to see what kind of feelings they had when experiencing the scenes. I charted all of the resulting data in order to better understand the results. I found that my scenes evoked one of the feelings I targeted in most of my test audience; Therefore, I consider this project a success.
