Rob Howard

Level Designer/Scripter

While I am trained in every aspect of level design, I most enjoy using scripting to create compelling gameplay. I am equally comfortable working with code (i.e. Call of Duty 4 GSC or UnrealScript) or visual scripting (i.e. Unreal Kismet or Half Life 2 entities). I have a broad range of experience with most current game editors, including Unreal 3, Call of Duty Radiant, Hammer, Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2, and TES Construction Set (Oblivion and Fallout 3).

I use scripting to make big moments: a fast car chase, a dramatic helicopter flight into a warzone, or a mammoth boss crashing through a wall. But I also enjoy storytelling, whether it be cinematic in nature (i.e. Unreal Matinee) or cues hidden in the environment.

I am currently working with Call of Duty IV's Radiant editor and GSC script to create a single player experience, called "Operation Righteous Eagle." I have also recently completed a single player partial modification for Unreal 3 called "Metropolita." Examples of both are viewable in the "Individual Work" section.
