Welcome to my portfolio.
I am currently earning my Masters of Interactive Technology, and I will graduate in May 2009 with a specialization in level design.
During my time at the Guildhall, I have used scripting to carve unique gameplay from the Unreal and Hammer editors. I look at a physics engine calculating "bullet + zombie = ?", and I wonder if it might also be used for some kind of incredible shark-jumping sequence.
I like to see what happens when things work just so, and scripting allows the rapid prototyping and refinement that these ideas require.
I am consumed by the aesthetics of our medium. I want to make games where we argue over the loping gait of our protagonist just as often as we point at our conflicting damage spreadsheets. I believe that games are more than the sum of their parts, and I can't wait for the opportunity to prove it.
